Access rights

User access rights are only available to users in the “Owner” role. You can restrict rights for any role except “Owner.” The “Owner” role will always have full access to all sections, settings, and account entities.

Access rights are configured for each user separately in the editing window for this user.

This functionality is currently under development. Currently, it's possible to configure access rights to:

  • contacts

Contacts

By default, the user is given full access to contacts, but this can be customized:

  • block viewing of contact information - contact information includes the contact's email and phone number. When this setting is enabled: -
    • instead of email and phone number in all places where they are displayed, the user will only see placeholders, and not specific data;
    • permissions are automatically set to “View Only.” When this setting is active, it's impossible to select any other access mode. To make changes, first disable the setting;
  • “Full Access” mode - full functionality is available without restrictions. Contacts can be: -
    • export;
    • import;
    • view all (including contact) data;
    • edit anywhere in any way ;
  • “Edit without import/export” mode. Any manual import or export of contacts through the enKod platform will be prohibited: the buttons for exporting, importing, adding, and restoring contacts will be inactive for the user. “Editing” means: -
    • create/edit/delete contact data -
      • email;
      • phone;
      • name;
      • surnames;
      • tags;
      • data fields;
      • mailing groups;
      • сессий/токенов ;
      • sessions/tokens;
  • “Change with access to import only” mode - all changes described in the “Change without import/export option” mode are available; the export buttons in the enKod interface will be inactive for the user, but access to import, add and restore contacts will be retained;
  • “Edit with Export Access Only” mode - all changes described in the “Edit without Import/Export” mode are available. The buttons for importing, adding, and restoring contacts in the enKod interface will be inactive for the user, but access to contact export will remain;
  • “View only” mode - the user will be prohibited from making changes, creating, deleting or restoring contacts, importing, exporting contact data in the enKod interface (the corresponding buttons will be inactive);
  • “Hide Section” mode - the user will not see the “Contacts” section in the menu. All other contact areas will remain accessible.

Please note:

  • even if import rights are restricted, the user will still be able to use the test message sending button, which adds the contact to the database. This behavior will be addressed in the upcoming mailing restrictions (in development);
  • the user will be able to use the preview, which is done by entering contact IDs.
