Attachments to messages
In the “Message editor”, “Message Editor” step, you can add attachments to your email.
Only files of the following formats are allowed for uploading:
- DOC
- DOCX
- XLS
- XLSX
- CSV
- PDF
- TXT
- PPT
- PPTX
- JPEG
- JPG
- PNG
- GIF
Limitations
- only 1 file can be attached at a time
- the number of attachments is not limited, but the limit on the total amount of attachments to one e-mail: up to 10 MB inclusive.
- it is unacceptable to attach files with the same name and format to one e-mail. For example, you can attach
name.jpg
andname.png
. You cannot attachname.jpg
andname.jpg
. - It is not allowed to add attachments to an email with AMP version. Otherwise, the AMP version will not be displayed in the email.
You can view attachments added to an email in the “Message editor” at the “Summary” step or in the Mailings → Messages → Message Details → Information section. By clicking on the attachment icon it will be downloaded to your computer.
Features
- you can customize unique attachments for each split test version
- you can unattach an attachment from an email by clicking on the cross and then saving or activating it.
- attachments added to an email will be kept until you manually delete them (attachments in the recipient's mailbox in already sent emails will remain available to recipients even if you delete the file in enKod)
- If you add a text file (TXT) as an attachment and the email itself does not have a preheader, Yandex mail clients will pull the content from the attachment file into the preheader text
